Emma's POV
I paced back and forth in my room, my mind racing with anticipation and nerves. I checked my gear for what felt like the hundredth time, ensuring everything was in order and ready for the day's training.
My hands trembled slightly as I tightened the straps on my armor, my heart beating faster with each passing moment. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves.
"This isn't your first day training, Emma. Just go already," Hailey had to pick the perfect time to interrupt.
"But how can you expect me to be used to it already? I still have to practice everything he taught me, but I can't even remember anything," I complained.
Yesterday's training was longer than usual. He seemed to have a lot to teach me, but I was trying to keep up with him. "You saw for yourself how tiring this is, and it feels like my bones are about to break," I continued to whine. No one told me it would be this stressful.
