CHAPTER 40: Challenge

  Emma's POV

Overwhelmed with shock and disbelief, Bennett and Hunter tried to reason with Parker, but he refused to listen.

"Parker, think about what you're saying," Bennett said, his voice calm but urgent. "We're a pack, a family. We share everything, including our mates."

  But Parker's expression remained resolute. "I don't care. I won't share Emma."

Hunter tried a different approach. "But Parker, we love her together. We're stronger together."

Parker's jaw clenched. "I don't care about being stronger. I care about having Emma to myself."

Bennett and Hunter exchanged a worried glance. I knew they had never seen Parker like this before, so stubborn and unyielding.

"Parker, please," Bennett said, his voice softening. "Don't do this. Don't tear us apart."

But Parker's mind was made up. "I'm not tearing us apart. I'm just being honest about what I want. And what I want is Emma, alone."
