CHAPTER 92: No Room For Argument

  Emma's POV

My eyes locked onto Eliana's, searching for any hint of deception, but my mother's gaze remained steady, unwavering. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that Eliana was dead serious.

"No," I said finally, my voice firm. "I won't go anywhere with you. I don't know what you want, but I'm not interested."

Eliana's expression didn't change, but her eyes seemed to bore deeper into my soul. "Stop trying to resist, Emma," she said, her voice low and even. "I will help you, whether you like it or not. You're my daughter, and I won't stand by and watch you suffer."

I took another step back, my heart racing. There was something unnerving about my mother's determination, something that made my skin crawl. "Isn't that too late already? Leave me alone," I spat, trying to sound braver than I felt.

Eliana's gaze lingered on my face for a moment. "Not without treating your wounds," she said, her voice barely audible.
