"Jackson," Emma said, her voice gentle yet firm, "I truly understand your concerns, I really do. But I feel like I'm ready to leave here. I can't just lie here doing nothing. I need to get back to my work, and I think I can recover better at home."
Jackson frowned, clearly not in agreement. "Emma, I'm not saying you shouldn't get back to your work, but you need to fully recover first. Leaving the hospital too early could worsen your condition."
Emma sighed softly, knowing that convincing Jackson wouldn't be easy. But she also knew that she couldn't back down. "Jackson, I've thought about this very carefully. I'll have a private doctor taking care of me at home, and I will follow all the instructions. I just need a familiar environment to recover better."
Jackson was silent for a moment, his gaze softening slightly but still filled with worry. "Emma, I just want what's best for you. I don't want to see you suffer any more harm."
