After two days of diligent practice with Lucas, Emma felt much more confident. The new knowledge that Lucas imparted not only improved her harp-playing skills but also broadened her understanding of music in general. However, alongside her progress, Emma knew she couldn't delay any longer. She had promised Ricard that she would teach him the harp, and now was the time to fulfill that promise.
On the afternoon of the third day, after finishing her lesson with Lucas, Emma sat down on the sofa in the living room, holding her phone but hesitating for a moment before dialing Ricard's number. She took a deep breath to steady herself. In her mind, she had already planned out this call, knowing that Ricard might be concerned about her health. But Emma was determined, and she didn't want him to refuse.
The phone rang several times before Ricard answered. "Emma?" His voice was warm, but it couldn't hide the surprise.
