CHAPTER 129 Anger

Emma slowly opened the window, the streetlights softly illuminating her beautiful face. Suddenly, an idea sparked in her mind. Emma took out her phone and sent a message to Opal.

"Opal, any interesting news coming up? I could use some entertainment," she texted, accompanied by a smiley face emoji.

Just a few minutes later, Opal replied, "You're planning something again, aren't you? I heard that Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are hosting a charity event at Children's Hospital No. 1 next weekend."

Emma smiled as she typed quickly. "Really? Will Anna be there?"

Opal responded, "No, she won't. I heard she has an important meeting about her cancer cell research project that day."

"That's perfect. Thanks, Opal. You're always my lifesaver," Emma texted back with a heart emoji.

"Just be careful with whatever you're planning. Don't make me have to bail you out again," Opal warned, though Emma knew her friend always supported her schemes.
