Emma felt a wave of relief wash over her as she listened to Jackson's words. The tension she had carried within her for so long seemed to melt away, leaving behind a quiet joy. She smiled, her gaze softening as she looked at him.
"I'm really sorry, Jackson. I know I've been reckless, letting my emotions get the best of me and making you worry. But I promise, from now on, I'll be more careful. I don't want you to have to worry about me anymore." Emma's voice was filled with guilt and sincerity. She genuinely wanted things between them to return to how they used to be.
Jackson didn't say anything at first, but he nodded gently, his eyes still filled with concern. He lightly brushed her hair, as if to reassure both of them. "I know. But you have to remember that I'm always here. Don't bear everything on your own anymore."
