Hannah's POV
I stood by the large window in my office, staring at the city skyline for what felt like the hundredth time that day. Everything had been packed, sorted, and handed over to my colleagues. My desk, which had once been cluttered with legal files, case notes, and reminders, now sat empty, a reminder of how quickly things could change.
Leaving wasn't easy. I'd built my career here, made friends, and found my true love, Christian. The thought of stepping onto that plane and leaving him behind was weighing on me more than I thought it would. I tried to focus on the positives, the incredible opportunity that awaited me overseas. But every time I thought about Christian, my heart squeezed just a little tighter.
