CHAPTER 91: Confrontation

  Hannah's POV

The moment Christian slammed the door behind us, I could feel the weight of his fury pressing down on me like a physical force. My heart pounded in my chest, my thoughts swirling between confusion and fear.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. I can not do this to myself, he was wrong and what he did can not be justified.

My heart was pounding, my emotions in complete disarray. The moment the door clicked shut behind us, the weight of what had just happened crashed down on me like a tidal wave. I stumbled back, trying to put some distance between us, my breath coming in shallow.

"Why are you doing this, Christian? Why did you even come here?"

Christian stepped toward me, his expression unreadable, but there was an intensity in his eyes that made me feel trapped. I backed up until my knees hit the bed, forcing me to stop. Tears were already pooling in my eyes, but I blinked them away, refusing to let him see how much this was tearing me apart.
