Lorenzo's POV
I got off work around past six and started heading to Genevieve's hideout, the cabin of her beloved fiance. I went alone, Alessio and my men would meet up with me after they dealt with Elijah's wine shop. I arrived at the old looking cabin by seven , opened the car door and got down and took a good look at the wooden building in front of me with displeasure on my face.
I walked close to the door as I heard the sound of the television. I stepped into the front porch as the darn thing creaked under my feet, the sound of the television more clearer as I made my way to the front door and stood there.
I couldn't hear the television anymore. She must have turned it off.
Then I heard the sound of her soft footsteps making its way to the front door but then she didn't open the door. I knocked on the door since she wasn't opening the door. She still didn't open up when I knocked harder the second time as the sorry excuse for a door shook from the force of my knock.
