Lorenzo's POV
I think I might start considering working from home. Now I get why most people work from home; it's much easier and less stressful, plus the fact that I can keep an eye on Riccardo and Marcella's movements and activities. He's been unusually quiet since Jenna struck him in the face, and it's very suspicious. He might be up to something deviously sinister.
I can smell it.
Riccardo isn't the type to just let go of things and stay down, and that'll be his undoing.
Besides, Gio is doing a great job standing in for me at the company. I've got nothing to worry about; the company's in good, capable hands.
"Are you on holiday too, Lorenzo?" Noah asked curiously, flipping through the papers littered on my desk.
"Something like that," I replied, going through the files in my hands.
"Just like Genevieve?" he looked up at me.
"Yes, she's on a break."
