Lucinda had better hold her tongue because I won't be responsible for my actions if she decides to run her mouth carelessly.
I'm too exhausted and stressed out as it is.
Alessio returned a few minutes later, dragging them along with him like animals to the slaughter as he brought them before me.
Ugh! When was the last time you took a damn shower?
"Before you begin to say anything, do move away from me. Your stench is threatening to choke me to death. Take five steps back."
She cringed before moving away from me with her children.
"How long do you plan to keep us prisoner inside this hellhole, sir?" Lucinda asked, sorrow-ridden.
"You had your men beat me mercilessly. I'll never see my Lucia. You gave my daughter away to a madman in Germany, tortured and killed my husband, and still kept me and my other children locked up in here like criminals for far too long. Please let us go." She breaks down in tears.
