CHAPTER 141 Now who's the dummy?

  Lorenzo's POV

  "What have you got there?"

"I thought you might want some chamomile tea, that's all," she said low-spirited.

"I'll leave you to your work, then," she turned, trying to leave.

"No, stay. You," I point at Marisa. "Out now!"

"Yes, sir," she mumbled, leaving the study, closing the door with a soft click.

I left my desk, wandering over to the center table, sitting down on the sofa.

She hobbled over to the table and poured me a cup of chamomile tea while I picked up the teacup, bringing it to my lips.

She made a move to leave.

"Sit," I commanded, and she stopped in her tracks before slowly spinning around and sitting down in front of me.

I took a sip, putting the saucer down on the table.

"Just say what's on your mind, Genevieve. I can hear the wheels in your head turning."

  "What?"

"I can tell you want to ask or say something. Say it already, get it off your chest."
