　　"Call the police, I think they've all been kidnapped."

　　I always knew this day would come.

　　"He isn't missing, Mother," Allegra said.

　　"What are you talking about? Of course he is."

　　"No, he's not, Aunt. I know it's hard to believe, but Stefano isn't missing," Andrea said.

　　"What are you children talking about? Someone broke in here, took Genevieve, Claudia, and Stefano—"

　　"Aunt, I'll believe that Genevieve and Claudia are missing, but not Stefano, never Stefano. I don't see the sense in kidnapping a person that's supposedly comatose."

　　"What are you trying to say, Alessandro?"

　　"Mother, I don't know how to say this to you without you getting hurt or shocked."

　　"Tell me what? Can someone explain to me what's going on?" She looks at everyone.

　　"It was Stefano that took Genevieve and Claudia," I said.

　　Mother looked at me like I just uttered something absurd and impossible.

　　"How's that even possible? Stefano is in a coma."
