CHAPTER 133 A Step Ahead

  Dominic's POV

It replayed in my head, over and over, like playing a record player in a loop, gnawing at the implications with every run. I wrapped my hands tighter around the wheel as we flew through the night.

"Dominic," Luca sliced into the silence between us, his tone taut with concern and anger, "I'm sure the Rossini's know something. What is our next move?"

I took a deep. "Well, I'm a step ahead of them. First, we're going to use the tracker on her necklace." I gave that to her for a reason, in anticipation of Rossini and Jocelyn's games. "If they are holding  her in their estate, we'll find out soon."

Luca's eyes brightened up. "Wow, that's smart of you, Dom. You already came prepared, knowing they could pull any stunt."

The moment we stepped into my study room, I didn't waste any minute and instantly opened the app on my laptop. A red dot blinked, pulsating with her location. My pulse surged. "She is still in the estate, west wing,  near the gardens."
