CHAPTER 22 Kiss

  Cavin's pov

The moment I sent that message to Eliza, I felt the weight of it settle heavily in my chest. It wasn't rational, wasn't planned, but every part of me demanded that she knew—she was mine. The words lingered on the screen, haunting, as I stared at them.

  "You will be punished."

A part of me wished I could take it back, but the thought of Nikolai touching her, the way her moans had filled the hallway, stirred something darker within me. She wasn't just some girl. She was *Eliza*—my niece, yes, but there was something more between us. Something neither of us could deny.

I slammed my phone down on the bedside table, running a hand through my hair, and sighed. Natalie was asleep next to me, oblivious to the war raging inside me. I glanced at her—perfect, beautiful Natalie—but it didn't matter. She wasn't Eliza.

My chest tightened. I had to see her.
