Cavin's POV
The soft glow of the moon bathed the balcony in silver light as I stepped outside, carrying two glasses of champagne. The sound of waves crashing against the shore below was a melody I'd never grow tired of. Eliza stood near the edge of the railing, her delicate frame silhouetted against the night. She looked ethereal, her long hair catching the breeze, and the red silk dress I had chosen for her clinging to her in all the right places.
"Enjoying the view?" I asked, my voice low as I approached her.
She turned, her lips curving into a smile. "I am." Her eyes locked with mine, and I could tell she wasn't talking about the ocean.
I handed her a glass, watching her fingers brush against mine as she took it. "To us," I said, raising my glass.
"To forever," she replied, her voice soft but certain.
We sipped in silence for a moment, the weight of the day finally lifting. This was our night, and nothing else mattered.
