Victoria
I don't know for how long I stood rooted at the hall after Mr. Rossi's exit. My head was spinning and going round in circles.
"What have I done?"
"What did I get myself into?"
"Why do I have such bad luck."
I slid back to the floor with my hands on my head. I messed up, I thought.
"Yes, I know. He won't suspect a thing, trust me."
My head snapped to the source of the voice. It was Sebastian. He seemed shocked at first to see me but masked it quickly.
"Why are you up at this hour?" He asked me, coming closer to my direction.
"I'm just coming back now." I whispered, wiping my tears while getting up from the floor and grabbing my purse.
"Were you crying?" He asked me to pull me back by my arm to inspect my face in the dim lighting.
"Excuse me, I'll just head upstairs." I tried to get away but he held me back.
"Miss Abbot, you can talk to me."
"Please call me Victoria, Miss Abbot sounds too formal."
