Against Victoria's insistence that she was fine, I still took her to the hospital for confirmation and for a thorough checkup on the baby.
Turns out that Victoria was smart enough to reduce the impact of the fall by wedging her hand against the sharp edge of the stairs else who knows what would have happened to our baby.
She's really going to be the best mother to that child.
I applaud her thoughtfulness. She saved our child.
My thoughts still revolve around what she was doing out of bed at that time and how the hell she was at the bottom of the stairs.
Maybe she might have wanted to get something downstairs. The chilling discovery is actually that there was an unwanted guest in my house last night.
How could somebody sneak into my home without me noticing?
That was the question that made me reach the conclusion that I had a mole in my camp, in my territory and in my home.
All over again.
