　　We wait in silence for what feels like hours but still, he doesn't turn up. We're all slowly losing our patience and I'm fighting with Jonah not to shift and he's losing his shit and banging fuck out of my head because I won't let him out.


　　"Alpha Calvin. I've just spoken with Alpha Marcus and he's asked me to inform you that he's had to leave on some last-minute pack business. He said you have the honor of deciding Jacoby's fate."     What the fuck?


　　"Do you mean to tell me that on his first official business as Alpha he has fucked off on 'Alpha business'?"


　　"Yes, I'm afraid so Alpha. I don't know any details other than what I told you and that he's left me in


　　charge until he returns." Beta John looks just as confused as us by Marcus's actions. "He's run!" Comes the raspy voice of Jacoby.


　　"What was that?" Calvin steps closer to Jacoby. Jacoby looks ready to shit himself and I don't blame him Calvin is one scary fucker when he needs to be.
