"Hmm," she was walking back to the party when she almost tripped, but I caught her.
"I think you've had enough. Don't you think it's time to go home?"
Nalya scoffed and looked at me with hooded eyes " Even your tone is the same,"
She refused to come with me. I carried her in my arms while she was shouted and struggled to be released. A few guards approached us but backed away when they saw me. They knew I wouldn't harm her.
"Let me go!"
"Nalya, I'll take you back home," I said gently, not wanting her to scream anymore.
"I don't have a home," she whispered, and I froze. She was crying in my arms, and I held her closer, apologizing to her for the shitty life she had.
"I'm sorry, baby,"
I opened the car door and put her inside, securing the seatbelt. "Where are you taking me?" she asked.
"To the pack house," I said.
"I don't like it there," she sighed and leaned against the window.
"Should I take you to your mate?" I asked.
