Rebel
I've officially moved in with Nathan and Alice. Life is great, except that I'm bald and ashamed of it. Other than my crumbling self-confidence, I'm doing pretty okay.
Or I would be doing okay if Logan wasn't trying to score another date with me when I'm kind of... Nervous about seeing him.
I sigh into the phone. "Yes, I know I live in the same city as you, Logan, but... I'm busy today and don't want to visit that restaurant."
He chuckles in amusement. "Rebel, we both know that you're making up excuses. You've been 'busy' the entire week, and according to Nathan, you hardly go out. So I have a hard time believing you're busy."
"Nathan sold me out?!" I growl into the phone. "I knew that bastard couldn't be trusted!"
Logan snorts, and I imagine him wearing a sly smile. "Or maybe... He is helping you get laid?"
My chest constricts at that. "I doubt that's the case, but... Can I make a confession?"
