“Let’s deal with that at home, come before he returns with his family”

He snaps, ushering me off towards the house, I don’t complain, my toes were starting to lose all feeling with the cold, the snow had melted and sunk into my slippers.

Right now I needed a large cup of REAL coffee, some chocolate cake and the fire. A really really big fire.

By the time we get home the sun was only starting to rise and I was exhausted, Baylee skips to the fireplace turning on the gas and lighting it like a little pro as the pup follows after her. I take a seat at the kitchen island and I watch as she talks to him like she use to talk to Dutch.

“We can’t actually be seriously keeping a wild wolf in our house?”

Drake snaps pouring the coffee, I shrug as she rushes to the fridge, pulling out raw meet and a piece of ham. I watch as she places it beside him but holds her finger up, she leans over eating the lump of ham then she sits back and nods.
