CHAPTER 90 Back To The Club

  -Molly-

The taxi pulled up just outside the club, and for a few moments, I just sat there. The drive to the club hadn't been long, but my bravery was waning quickly. The last time I was here, I was with Jean-Pierre. For all his failings, the fact that he took control allowed me to ignore my nervousness and just do it.

But now that this was all on me, I wasn't sure if it was brave enough to go in.

"That's your door, girl," the driver said in French.

I stared at him blankly while my mind slowly translated what he said.

"Oh! Merci," I replied with a forced smile before shoving myself out of his car.

I didn't need a witness to my struggles.

"Come on, Molly," I snapped at myself in disgust. "Now is not the time to chicken out."
