Chapter 61 INDESCRIBABLE FEELINGS

  BRIELLE'S POV

The journey to the Jeep lining outside the castle felt tense and potentially deadly.

Brielle was terrified by the ambient silence, which combined with the eerily quiet atmosphere safe for the sounds of birds and crickets chirping, and she felt as if she was walking to her doom.

Lady Delilah had come to her room earlier, telling her about the supposed trip they were going on tonight, and the bad feeling she had been having for days had returned in full force.

She couldn't shake the feeling, and each step she took increased her anxiety.

The maids escorting her to the arranged vehicle all had nonchalant expressions on their faces, and she couldn't ask them anything because she knew they were as clueless as she was.

'Does she want to take you shopping?'

'Don't you think she has some other motivation for this?'

  'I smell danger, Brielle.'
