　　Jane's words were so urgent, Nathan couldn't contemplate but he was certain he heard her mention his son. Instantly, he dropped his cutlery, his neck turning to Mercedes. She was calm. "You can go," she uttered without a look at him. 


　　Jane was giving Nathan the chance to see the boy she had used to torment him these two years. She hoped the truth would be revealed as Nathan went with Jane.


　　"No, you are coming with me, "Nathan yanked her before she could say no. Alexander, Betty and Sarah followed suit. For as long as Alexander and Sarah knew, something was happening to their grandson and they needed to be there for him.


　　Nathan rode with Mercedes, while Alexander rode with Sarah. Betty with Jane. "You fool, couldn't you have just excused yourself? Why did you have to bring him along?"
