　　Well, Nathan wasn't surprised. His father had access to his office but Nathan hated intrusion. His father might have connections somewhat dishonest but Nathan could still bring them down if he wanted. There was just one thing stopping him from fighting back. Respect. 


　　"Dad, I demand you request my permission before showing up in my office," Nathan tried to be polite while Mercedes looked for ways to escape the awkward atmosphere. Jane was roasting with Mercedes' presence and if she had her way, she would cover her with fuel and strike a matches to set her ablaze. 


　　Mercedes realized that Nathan only had his fathers' hair therefore, his other handsome features might have come from his mum. His dad was also good looking but Nathan stood out.


　　Nathan's father's hot gaze burned her even as he addressed Nathan. "I would have if you had answered your phone." For as long as he was concerned, Mercedes was the one turning his son against him and he hated her for it.
