I entered the living room dressed in a black three-piece suit and blue tie on a white collared long sleeve, ready for work. These were the new clothes Jayden brought over when I told him I would leave work from here yesterday. We were the same height and size, so I knew the clothes would fit perfectly even before wearing them.
"You're not going to work?" I asked as I stepped out of the bedroom, and I found Jayden standing in his living room in white shorts and a black tank top.
He had a bottle of wine in his hand, which was too early for the morning. He also looked angrier than last night when I came in. I had already been through enough yesterday, and I didn't bother asking what was wrong then. Seeing that the anger still held him tight even this morning sparked my concern.
