Chapter 109: Oliver

  My head dropped, and the tears fell to the floor because I feared I would ruin my dress if I didn't. Oliver was a smooth talker, and he always got to me. I thought his vows would be lines I'd heard before, and though some were, they still had a significant impact on how genuine they were.

  Oliver offered me his handkerchief, and I took it and wiped the tears away before looking back up. I sniffed and cleared my throat. "There is no way what I wrote beats that," I mumbled to him.

  He shook his head. "I know your heart, and that will be enough."
