Hybrid's Redemption

　　When I reached the Alpha King's house, thankfully, I didn't bump into anyone, so I followed Mary who was the one that took me there up to my new room.


　　The room she showed me, turned out to be in the second hall immediately after that of the Alpha King.


　　The room was spacious and nice, much more bigger than the one I was occupying in Lance's house. The decor was simple, and like my former room, had a warm feminine outlook. I particularly took an instant liking to the fireplace which sat just in the same direction as the one in the room I vacated in Lance's house. It reminded me of what Lance told me concerning the firehouse and the vase of flowers on it.


　　I already miss him. But, I held in my emotions until Mary left.


　　"I'm really going to miss you a little bit." Mary giggles childishly as she packed away my stuff in the wardrobe.


　　"I will miss you too, especially your chafing wake-up calls."
