CHAPTER 110

  For the next couple of weeks, the question kept running through my mind refusing to leave me. Oftentimes I find myself traipsing towards the library but at the recollection of the strength behind the words of Paisley concerning the secrecy of the books, I would retrace my steps.

  Even when Nadia had suggested we go to the library again, I had declined. Instead I opted for us to go to the town's library which they were glad to oblige. At least, they get to leave the house.

  "Do you think the King would return anytime soon? It's been three weeks already!" Nadia whined, twisting a bookbinder on the table.

  I slapped her hand out. "Do you want to ruin the book? Mrs. Dolly will have your hide." I apprised her. "The King would be back when he wishes. It's not like it's our business."
