"I，Rachel  reject you Gabriel as my mate". I yelled at him. He fell to the ground in pain clutching his chest. Now I know what to expect when he accepts my rejection. 

The feeling I had towards him minutes ago was severed. I felt nothing but the hatred I had for him for years. I will mourn the loss of my mate later but for now there are more important things to handle. Gabriel staggered back to his feet, with a mixture of grief and betrayal. I felt nothing.

"Accept my rejection Gabriel '' I screamed but he ignored me. I pounded my fist on his back dragging him to turn around.

When Rachel found out that she is mated to her old enemy, she was asked to forgive him for the benefit of the old pack.

She needs to think if the whole pack is Worthy of her forgiveness to her mate.
"I think I can give you a chance". I said quietly, and he sighed in relief, he took my hands off his face and kissed my palm before placing it on his chest.
" Are you sure?".  He asked hopefully.

　　Well, I'm pretty sure Ethan was trying to kill me before Debbie ever got her filthy paws on me, after Gabriel told me about his conversation with Steve. It became clear that there would be no reasoning with Debbie.


　　And that she has absolute nothing to lose.


　　I've never heard of a wolf rejecting their mate hoping the one they want is their second chance mate. There are just so many variables, besides the fact that second chance mates are very rare to find. I've never met a pair of them or even heard of it happening. It's almost like the concept is some sort of myth, I won't pretend to understand what that girl is thinking, all I can do is train my ass off to beat her.
