" Sugar And tension "

( In the evening around 10 to 11 Pm, still at the Arcade:;)

( Inside the arcade ):;

" What's wrong " Nat asked his tone fullied with confusion

" What?, what's wrong " Confused Siri asked calmly

Nat smiles at Siri's cluelessness, making Siri more confused

" What's wrong " Siri asked one again now her tone fullied with more confusion than the last time

Nat who is still smiling, while ignoring Siri's question

" What's wrong " Confused Siri asked again,

Nat still kept on Smiling while ignoring Siri's question once more

" I said What's wrong" Siri asked once more now her voice fuilled with annoyance

Nat aware of Siri's annoyance still kept smiling while ignoring her questions once more, making short tempered Siri more annoyed ,

The line was getting short so they constantly had to move forward, so they could get a chance to order, but that didn't stop Siri ,

Siri asked Nat, her tone filled with confusion and annoyance, "What's wrong?"

Nat smiled calmly, ignoring Siri's question once more.

Siri's eyes narrowed, her brow furrowing in concern. "What's wrong?" she asked again.

Nat continued to smile, still ignoring Siri's question.

Siri's voice rose, her tone filled with annoyance. "I said, what's wrong?"

Nat's smile never wavered, but his eyes sparkled with amusement.

Siri's face fell, her expression a mix of frustration and concern. She crossed her arms, waiting for Nat to respond.

Nat finally spoke up, his voice calm and even. "I ignored your questions earlier because I wanted to see how you'd feel, Siri."

Siri's eyes widened, surprise etched on her face. "You wanted to see how I'd feel?" she repeated.

Nat nodded. "I wanted to make you experience the same frustration I felt when you ignored me."

" That's quite childish to be honest " Siri calmly says

" It is isn't it " Nat replies with a gentle smile on his face ,

The Both of them are now at the front of the line, preparing to order, when the vendor, a friendly-looking woman with a warm smile, approached them.

"Welcome to our dessert stall! What can I get for you tonight? We have a variety of traditional Thai desserts, including Khao Neow Mamuang, Tub Tim Krob, and Khanom Buang." He tone calm and polite

" What do you want " Nat turned to ask Siri ,

Siri looked uncertain, scanning the menu. "I'm not sure...I've never had anything here before."

Nat smiled. "Do you want me to order for you?"

Siri hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Okay, sure."

Nat thought for a moment. "I'll have the Khao Neow Mamuang, and for Siri, I'll get her the Tub Tim Krob."

(NB: Tub Tim Krob is a Thai dessert made with water chestnuts, coconut milk, and crushed ice.)

Siri's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, why did you order something different for me?"

Nat smiled. "I know you don't like sweet desserts, so I thought Tub Tim Krob would be a better option for you."

Siri's face lit up with a smile. "Oh, yeah! I don't like super sweet desserts. Thanks, Nat!" Nat calmly nodded in reply,

The vendor smiled. "Great choice! Tub Tim Krob is a good option if you're looking for something less sweet "

The both of them nodded in response while smiling at each other

" Great, and would you like to add any drinks to your order? We have Thai iced tea, coffee, or coconut water." The vendor politely asked

Nat thought for a moment. "We'll take two Thai iced teas, please."

The vendor nodded. "Okay, that's one Khao Neow Mamuang, one Tub Tim Krob, and two Thai iced teas coming right up! Would you like to have it to go, or have it here?"

Nat looked at Siri. "Do you want to take it to go, or have it here?"

Siri thought for a moment before responding. "Let's just have it here. We don't have much time."

Nat nodded and turned back to the vendor. "We'll have it here, thank you."

The vendor smiled. "Great! Please go wait over there and I'll bring it to you "

As they sat down at the small table outside the stall, the sweet aroma of sugary desserts and the salty scent of fried foods wafted through the air, mingling with the sounds of laughter and chatter from the surroundings .

An awkward silence fell between them. They both looked away, avoiding eye contact, before their gazes drifted back to each other. The silence stretched out, becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

The fluorescent lights of the arcade cast a bright glow over the scene, illuminating the vibrant colors of the dessert stall and the stuffed rabbit Siri had won earlier.

The air was thick with the hum of excitement and energy from the arcade, but between Nat and Siri, the tension was palpable...
