The Chaos of Battle
"Prepare your motherf****r!"
With a furious roar, the Vulture charged toward Ned, launching a barrage of missiles straight at him.
"Hmph!"
Doctor Octopus, who initially wanted to negotiate, let out a cold snort as he shot one of his mechanical tentacles toward the Iron Man suit.
Swish!
The Iron Man suit quickly dodged, creating distance, and then fired two palm lasers—one aimed at Doctor Octopus' body, the other at his mechanical arms. For Iron Man, it didn't matter which laser hit; either way, it was a win.
"Urgh!"
Doctor Octopus dared not take the lasers head-on. He swiftly used one of his tentacles lodged in the nearby wall to leap away.
However, to his shock, no matter how much force he exerted with his mechanical arms, he couldn't escape the wall, as though something invisible was holding him back.
It was Ned's doing. He had activated the Mirror Dimension to trap Doctor Octopus' mechanical arm against the wall, rendering him immobile.
If Doctor Octopus had shifted his body to dodge instead of attempting to leap away, he might have avoided the attack. But because of the Mirror Dimension's slight delay, the Iron Man suit's laser hit him squarely in the chest.
BOOM!
"Argh!"
This was no ordinary laser beam; it was a concentrated blast from the ultimate nanotech Iron Man suit. The weak armor on Doctor Octopus' chest was completely obliterated, leaving a gaping hole in his chest.
BOOM!
Without hesitation, the Iron Man suit fired another laser straight at Doctor Octopus' head, reducing it to nothing. His lifeless body hung limply on the wall, suspended by his mechanical arms.
Turning away from the now-finished Doctor Octopus, Iron Man set his sights on the Green Goblin, who was drenched in cold sweat, trembling in fear.
During the earlier scuffle, the Green Goblin had chosen not to assist Doctor Octopus. Instead, he had planned to wait for Doctor Octopus to suffer a bit before joining forces against Iron Man.
But now, in just the blink of an eye, Doctor Octopus was dead—his head completely vaporized.
"You... I…"
The Green Goblin stammered, struggling to find words.
Suddenly, he turned and fled, activating his glider at full speed. Smoke bombs, decoys, and other weapons rained down behind him in an attempt to delay Iron Man.
Faced with this chaotic attack, Iron Man merely activated his energy shield.
BOOM!
Amid the explosions, several micro-missiles pierced through the smoke, homing in on the fleeing Green Goblin.
"Impossible!"
The Green Goblin had never seen the Iron Man suit use anything other than lasers in previous battles. Moreover, the sleek design of the suit gave no indication it could house additional weapons.
Caught off guard, the Green Goblin had made no preparations to counter missiles. By the time he realized what was happening, the missiles were already upon him.
BOOM!
With a final scream, the Green Goblin met his end.
Meanwhile, Ned was dealing with the Vulture's missile barrage. Dispelling the Vishanti's Holy Sword in his hand, he rapidly retreated while creating a portal along the missiles' path.
The portal's exit opened right next to the Vulture. The missiles returned to their sender, detonating and leaving the Vulture's broken body crumpled on the ground.
"Alright, only one left," Ned muttered, turning his gaze to the glowing Electro.
"Little AI, go!"
Swish!
Obeying Ned's command, the Iron Man suit charged straight at Electro without hesitation.
"Bring it on!"
Having absorbed all of New York City's electricity, Electro felt invincible. He roared as endless arcs of electricity surged toward the incoming Iron Man suit.
Crackle!
Sizzle!
The Iron Man suit absorbed the electricity effortlessly, with its internal display showing energy levels reaching 400%.
"Wow, this reminds me of young Thor, always stealing his mom's scarves," quipped Tony Stark's voice from the AI system.
The suit's back opened to reveal a specially designed energy absorption module, originally meant for working alongside Thor. It could also release devastating energy blasts through multiple angles.
With the suit brimming with excess energy, this was the perfect moment to unleash its full power.
"Ha!"
Buzz!
Six golden energy beams shot out from the module, accompanied by two palm lasers. They converged with destructive force, targeting Electro.
BOOM!
"Argh!" Electro screamed in pain as the lasers struck him, pushing him to his limit.
But something wasn't right. As the battle continued, Ned noticed Electro's energy levels climbing rapidly.
"Little AI, stop!" Ned commanded.
The Iron Man suit ceased its attack. Ned looked up to see Electro's body pulsating with unstable energy, fluctuating between electricity and physical form. He was clearly on the verge of reaching an elemental state.
"Damn it!" Ned cursed, flying toward Electro. He needed to act before it was too late.
Electro noticed Ned's approach but ignored him, confident that nothing could harm him now. He was too focused on his imminent transformation.
Ned gritted his teeth, enduring the electrical currents coursing through his suit as he approached. He locked his gaze on Electro's fluctuating form.
Smack!
At the perfect moment, when Electro's body briefly turned physical, Ned struck his chest with a powerful palm strike.
Poof!
To Ned's shock, the blow forced a semi-transparent figure—a burly man with wide eyes—from Electro's body. It was Max Dillon, separated from the energy that had consumed him.
