These chosen ones, known as the Zodiac Mages, are guardians of a fragile balance, but their unity shattered years ago. Now, their powers have become the target of those willing to go to any lengths to claim them.

To counter this growing threat, Caden sets out to rebuild the Brotherhood of Zodiac Mages. Together, they must overcome their differences, restore the harmony of old, and face an enemy whose strength is beyond imagination. But every alliance comes with its own risks: caught between friendship and betrayal, Caden must discern allies from foes and uncover the truth about his own origins.

Caden's fury was so intense that a deep rumble echoed around him. His fists clenched, and a searing heat spread through the air. His drenched clothes began to dry at an unnatural speed under the fiery energy emanating from his body.

— Or else what? repeated the woman with silver hair, a mocking smile on her lips.

She tightened her grip around Bella's throat, who was gasping, unable to resist.

Caden didn't answer. Instead, he hurled a wave of flames straight at his opponent.

Surprised by the brutal assault, the woman had no choice but to leap backward with inhuman speed, releasing Bella from the force of the impact. Bella collapsed to the ground, coughing violently as she struggled to catch her breath. She looked up, stunned, watching Caden, still affected by what he had just done.

The woman with silver hair straightened herself, her gaze shifting from Caden to Bella, her eyes reflecting silent surprise.

She disappeared abruptly. Caden barely had time to catch a glimpse of a silver blur before a gust of wind rose around him. His opponent reappeared instantly to his left, attempting a swift strike, but he blocked it with a precise movement, generating a heat explosion that pushed the woman back a few steps.

— Impressive, she admitted. But not enough.

She dove at him with lightning speed, striking with relentless precision. Caden blocked several blows, feeling the impact resonate through his muscles. His opponent moved like a shadow, elusive, striking where he least expected.

With a leap, he dodged a blow aimed at his temple and, in the same motion, swept the air with a blazing wave. The woman barely had time to retreat, narrowly avoiding the scorching assault. However, Caden didn't give her any respite. He followed up with a series of fiery projectiles, forcing her to retreat further and further.

— Shit... she thought, wiping a light burn off her arm. If this keeps up, I'll...

Her gaze darkened. She had no choice.

Caden furrowed his brow. A heavy silence fell.

Bella's scream shattered the moment.

Without hesitation, Caden spun around and delivered a powerful kick. His heel struck the woman squarely, sending her crashing against the wall with a sickening crack.

He took a deep breath. A strange sensation washed over him.

He looked up at the woman, who was struggling to rise, her gaze filled with rare apprehension.

His voice resonated like an ancient echo, imbued with mystical strength.

The flames swirled around him, merging into the luminous orb growing between his hands.

The fire roared, alive, relentless.

With a cry of determination, he released the attack.

The orb surged forward, igniting the space in a blinding explosion. The woman screamed, her cries tearing through the air as her body burned under the relentless assault. The flames consumed her, spreading at a furious pace until she was nothing more than a pile of ashes scattered by the wind.
