"…." Gianna stiffed at the sound and her fingers clutched the hem of her robe even tighter before releasing.

'He's here' I felt slightly nervous but at the same time my blood seemed to be boiling beneath my skin.

"Are you ready?" I asked once again as I looked toward my wife who slowly turned to meet my gaze.

Her ruby red eyes stared into mine with complicated emotions as if she was trying to see through me. I cowardly broke eye contact and let out a dry cough as I started to make my way to the door, Gianna remained sitting and watched me every step of the way until I reached for the door knob.

'….' My forbidden and filthy dream would finally be fulfilled by the person behind this door.

'Should I really….' It was the last chance to turn back and I was sure that Gianna was hopeful that I would.

'….' A passing feeling of resistance traveled through my veins but it quickly faded letting me pull the door open.

The hallways were illuminated by the chandeliers that hung from the celling and what greeted me on the outside was a familiar young man. His silky black hair fell slightly into his face and he was standing with his arms resting behind his back, It was a very stif stance although I wasn't surprised since he knew why I had invited him here.

"Your majesty" Kai bowed his head respectfully with a calm expression but I could see the nervousness that was hidden behind.

"Kai" I greeted him with a smile to ease the tension but it seemed as if he was hesitating with something.

"Your majesty…." Kai spoke as he glanced to his sides before leaning a bit closer in my direction.

"Are you sure this isn't a prank?…" His words made my eye twitch and I had to resist clicking my tongue.

'That's the twentieth time he's asked that'

I understood his disbelief at being asked such a thing but surly after so many times he should be able to understand that I was serious.

"The others think that I'm very gullible so I just want to make sure~" Kai kept speaking but I cut him off despite agreeing with what he had most spoken.

"It's not a prank Kai" I reached up and patted his shoulder in a supporting manner before raising my eyebrow.

"Unless you're uncomfortable doing this favor for me?" I asked just in case with a bit of edge in my tone hoping that he hadn't changed his mind.

"No!" Kai basically shouted and reached forward to stop me before his cheeks flushed slightly in embarrassment.

"Hm…I mean…i'll do it your majesty" He coughed dryly bowing his head while stumbling over his words.

'It seems he's excited even if he's hiding it' It was to he expected after all it was a once in a life time opportunity.

"Come in" I shook off the chill that traveled through my body and moved to the side gesturing for him to come inside.

"Thank you" Kai lifted his head and hesitantly stepped inside the room.

I closed the door and walked in front of Kai who had waited for me. It was that type of attitude that made him my favorite servant. I continued into the room as he walked behind me before my eyes landed on Gianna, She was still sitting on the couch with her fingers playing with the hem of her robe.

"…." She waited in silence staring at me or more specifically trying to see who was hidden behind my frame.

"Gianna" I spoke with a racing heart waiting to see her reaction as I stepped to the side.

"You're already acquainted with Kai aren't you" I asked already knowing the answer as I kept my eyes on her.

"W~what…" Gianna blinked before her eyes slowly grew wide and I could see the visible shock filling them.

"Empress Gianna" Kai came to a stop and respectfully bowed his head keeping his eyes on the floor. 

"Y~you picked him?" Gianna's shaking eyes calmed down and she stared at me with confusion painted on her face.
