La Masia (1)

Jerry didn't have to wait long for the staff from Barcelona to arrive. About thirty minutes after he finished dressing up, there was a knock at his door.

"You can come in," Jerry half-shouted. He didn't want to wake Jester up. Tom stepped in shortly after, finding Jerry seated on the edge of the bed, tying the laces of his shoes.

"They're here," Tom said.

"I figured," Jerry muttered under his breath. He finished securing his shoes, stood up, and made his way toward the door.

"I hope you stay," Tom said just as Jerry was about to step out. "You're one of the most talented and hardworking players I've ever seen, and I've been doing this for a long time."

Jerry exhaled softly and glanced at him. "I want to stay too," he admitted. "Like I said, I'm just going because I don't want to be rude and all. I'm a Red at heart."
