Looking at the huge wolf jaws that were ready to split him in half, Alan had a crazy smile on his face.

Alan: "I was waiting for you."

Only a few inches away from being split in half, Alan disappeared from where he was, and in his place appeared one of the attacking second-stage wolves.

The huge wolf bites down, crushing the second-stage wolf in a split second.

Alan appeared right above the huge wolf in the air; following him, Nova appeared out of nowhere from space as she circled around the huge body of the wolf. She went for the kill and bit down on the huge wolf's neck; at the same moment, Alan from above delivered a barrage of fists concentrated on the huge wolf's neck.

Everything happened in a split second. The huge wolf could only shout a dying last scream.

The surrounding second-stage wolves were shocked, frozen in their places, not knowing what happened.

The huge wolf tried to struggle, but to no avail; under the confinement of Nova and the attacks on his neck by both Nova and Alan, it died a moment later.

Nova, after feeling that the huge wolf had died, circled around Alan, who, although barely standing, had a crazy smile on his face.

Nova from the start of the fight, as she watched her master getting cut and injured by those wolves, her anger was bubbling like a volcano, raging on the inside while she waited for Alan to call upon her.

Now that she was out, she wanted nothing more than to kill every single one of these wolves.

Alan: "Hahahahahahaha, Novaaaaa kill."

The moment Alan gave his order, Nova launched herself at the second stage wolves in super speed, yet in a moment she disappeared in space. Alan, who was standing in his spot, not moving, clenched his fist and attacked the space where Nova was standing.

His fist collided with a second-stage wolf who appeared out of nowhere, completely stunned. Not knowing what was happening, it died miserably by Alan's hands.

Alan and Nova, The two of them went on a rampage, mowing down everything in their path; the area soon turned into a true slaughterhouse. Alan, who was exhausted beyond words, barely able to stand, killing everything left or right, laughing with a crazy smile on his face, completely euphoric.

Soon silence descended, and the place was completely silent with so many dead Wolf bodies everywhere.

Nova circled around Alan, who seemed like he would fall any moment to support him.

The two of them walked to the crashed Hoover vehicle; their standing stund was the little tiger, not knowing if they were an enemy or a friend, but understanding that by killing the wolves, they save their lives. The little tiger took a defensive stance, covering for his master inside the vehicle.

Alan: "Little tiger, we are not an enemy; we are here to help."

With a smile on his face, as if his previous crazy endeavor was nothing more than a fragmented imagination, Alan sat down and talked to the little tiger; with his bloody hand, he gently petted the little tiger's head.

Alan: "You were extremely courageous, defending your master even if you are outnumbered 200 to 1. Let me check on your master's injuries; I might be able to help him."

The tiger, who felt no hostility from Alan, lowered its guard.

Alan walked to the Hoover vehicle, forcing the door open. When he took a look inside, he was surprised to find an extremely beautiful young female that looked around 17 or 18 years old.

With a clear injury to the head, Alan carefully got her out of the Hoover vehicle. He asked Nova to take out a few healing potions and Ena-infused potions.

Slowly he let the injured girl drink the healing potions. Checking her vitals, he was assured that she was fine.

He himself took a few healing potions and Ena-infused portions; sadly for him, the injuries on his shoulder and left leg were too severe for the healing potion to have an effect on them.

From the start, Alan, who saw how big this pack was and how well organized it was, knew that there must be an alpha in command.

So he made a decision to hide Nova until the critical moment when the alpha joined the fight, laying a trap, using Nova's teleportation talent when he was inches away from death to change his position and teleport one of the second stage wolves in his place. Alan knew that the most vulnerable moment for a predator is when they think that they are one step away from victory, so he capitalized on this fact, waiting for the coward alpha to make his move. Appearing mid-air and summoning Nova from his sanctuary, both of them delivered their attacks, entrapping the alpha and killing him in a moment.

With the furious Nova joining the fight, he knew that they could finish the rest of them in a matter of minutes, depending on Nova's spatial abilities.

His plan worked, but he was severely injured.

Right when Allen was confronting a second-stage wolf, a few seconds before the alpha attacked.

Jake: "Unbelievable. Is this really a 16-year-old kid? His refined movements, killing intent—any attack of his is meant to kill."

Lao: "Yes, it is truly terrifying, but his injuries are so severe he won't last long."

Saying this, both Lao and Jake looked at their boss.

Boss: "Don't move, just watch."

The moment they saw the alpha attacking Alan, how Alan and Nova executed the alpha, in just a moment both Lao and Jake were shocked, cold sweat tickling their backs.

Jake: "A demon, a better maniac with a terrifying spatial beast—a deadly combination."

Lao: "What's terrifying is that from the start he planned and executed everything perfectly. Look at the crazy smile of his."

Just as Jake was about to talk to Alan, the woman in the middle immediately released a terrifying pressure that came crashing down on Alan and Nova.

Alan felt a mountain-crushing pressure on his body; every single cell and fiber of his being wanted to kneel down to this pressure.

Nova wasn't doing any better as she desperately struggled to raise her head, only for it to go down.

Just as Alan thought that he would be crushed down by the suffocating pressure.

Something inside him clicked slowly, fighting the incoming pressure, raising his head to look at the woman in the middle.

Using his shoulder, he supported Nova, preventing her from falling to the ground.

Alan: "Nova, we will die here today, so let's not make it easy for them; let's use everything we have."

With a crazy look in his eyes, Alan shouted for Nova. Both of them looked at this woman in the middle, ready to die making the last stand.

Suddenly the pressure disappeared as if it was never there.

Lao: "We are not an enemy kid; we are here to protect the passenger of the Hoover vehicle, so you can relax."

On the inside, Lao was shocked as he watched this kid resist the crushing pressure of the boss. He saw the crazy killing intent inside this kid's eyes.

Knowing for sure that they will die, yet able to smile and wanting to fight back, that's something he wouldn't dare to imagine coming from a 16-year-old.

The woman in the middle walked to Alan as she took a vial and handed it over to him.

Boss: "What's your name, kid?"

Alan: "Alan... Alan Ortex."

Although stunned by the development, Alan answered the woman.

Boss: "I will remember that."

She turned around and talked to her subordinates.

Boss: "Let's get the VIP and get it out of here."

Jake: "Yes, boss."

Lao: "The smell of blood is full in the air, kid; I advise you not to stay any longer here."

The three of them immediately collected the unconscious girl and the knocked out Little tiger who was affected by the pressure from the woman.

All of them disappeared in a matter of seconds as if they had never been here in the first place and everything that happened was just a figment of imagination.

Taking a deep breath, Alan looked at Nova and said,.

Alan: "We are really weak, but we have survived, and that's all that matters. You've done an amazing job, Nova."

Nova's eyes burned with the determination to grow stronger, never to let her master face such a situation again.

Alan looked at the vial that the woman had given him; without hesitation, he opened it and drank it.

Immediately he felt an itching pain all over his body as his injuries, especially the severe one, started to heal at a visible speed to the naked eye.

Alan: "Let's get our spoils; they are right; we should not linger around here anymore."

Using Nova's space talent inventory, he collected most of the bodies in the area. He even had to leave more than 30 first-stage beast carcasses as Nova space was full, but he made sure to collect their cores. Not soon after, Alan put Nova inside his sanctuary and started running to the exit of the woods.
