The next morning, Dashiell miraculously made breakfast with her own hands.

She called me to eat.

But at the table, she said to me, "Greer, you'll take the kids to school later. I'm still feeling so dizzy, I might throw up if I sit in the car."

I readily agreed.

Now I didn't even need the hair left from last night.

Though I knew what Dashiell was up to.

She was going to claim the prize, and I was going for the DNA test.

We both had our own business to attend to.

After breakfast, I got in the car with Olyvia and Serenity.

The three of them hadn't even brought their luggage when they returned last night, let alone their school bags.

There was no need to pretend anymore.

As soon as I got in the car, I opened my social media and posted:

[Those wishing to claim paternity of Olyvia and Serenity, please bring evidence of intimate contact with Ms. Dashiell to the downtown hospital at 9 AM for DNA testing.
