"No way," Sean replied curtly.
"We haven't seen each other for three years. Don't you miss your handsome brother?"
"Why would I miss you? You being exported to America is the greatest blessing in my life, you know." Sean grabbed the blanket and slapped it on Juno's body. "Get out!"
But the one who was kicked out just relaxed by changing his position by lying on his back looking at the ceiling of Sean's room. "Why don't you reply to my chats, anyway? It's not even read. I'm still trying to send you a chat in the middle of my busy schedule."
"No one told you to send me a chat." Sean tugged at Juno's legs, trying to get her off the bed. "And I also don't have time to deal with your unimportant chats. Eh, get out!"
Juno's body slid off the mattress because Sean pulled him, but two seconds later he was back again fixing his comfortable sleeping position on Sean's soft mattress.
"HEH, GET OUT NOW!" Sean was furious. "Go back to your house!"
"You like Rhea, huh?" Juno asked suddenly, even though he already knew the answer.
Sean reacted a little to hearing Rhea's name mentioned. "What does it matter to you whether I like Rhea or not? It's none of your business."
Juno woke up and sat facing Sean who was still trying to chase him out of the room, this time holding up a baseball bat that he didn't know where he got it from. Juno was shocked to see the baseball bat. "Wow, why do you have a baseball bat?"
"Get out of my room!" Sean intended to hit Juno's body with a baseball bat but Juno quickly blocked him by holding the bat.
"I still don't want to go home," Juno answered nonchalantly, and this time he and Sean fought over the baseball bat. "I just asked a little about Rhea. Do you like her? Because I like Rhea."
Sean seemed to be no longer surprised when he heard Juno say he liked a girl, he already knew his cousin's character very well. "Then why do you like Rhea?"
"Yes, I want to date him."
"And I'm not going to let that happen.
"MOVE AWAY!" Sean moved his baseball bat, but Juno still held it, worried that Sean would use it to hit him like before.
"You don't have any relationship with Rhea, do you? And it seems like Rhea doesn't have any feelings for you either. So there's nothing to forbid, right, if I get close to her?"
Sean was getting more and more annoyed with Juno, he let go of his baseball bat. "Whatever you want"
"Young."
"It's up to you if you don't want to go home. I'll be the one leaving here." Sean turned his body around.
"I have important information for you." Juno said.
Sean didn't care and kept walking towards the door.
"It's about your father," Juno added.
Juno's words just now were enough to interest Sean so that he stopped his steps just as his right foot had stepped out of the room. He stopped without wanting to look back at Juno.
Juno stood still where she was, by Sean's bed.
"Your father is in Jakarta."
"So what?" Sean asked coldly. His face suddenly changed.
Juno walked over to Sean, as if he knew how his brother felt. "Don't you want to find out where he lives?"
"I told you, don't talk about my father anymore."
"You don't want to meet him?"
"I have no intention whatsoever to meet him, let alone face him." Sean walked out of the room and left Juno in the room.
Juno turned to one direction, seeing a childhood photo of Sean with a middle-aged man who was definitely his father. Then Juno turned to where Sean had gone while taking a deep breath.
***
That morning Rhea came out of
her boarding house was already neatly dressed in school uniform-ready to go to school. But she was surprised to see someone whose presence she did not expect, now in front of her eyes. Juno with his cool style was waiting for Rhea near her favorite car. As soon as he saw Rhea come out, he immediately spread his signature smile to charm the girl's heart
"Good morning," sapa Juno
Rhea looked unhappy. "What are you doing here?"
"I've been waiting for you here since dawn, you know."
"Do not have things to do."
"We're in the same direction, how about we go together?" invite Juno confidently. "I want to go to papa's office"
"In what direction? Isn't my school further than your father's office? Do you want me to be dropped off on the street?" Rhea snapped.
"Oh... no way. How could a guy leave a girl in the middle of the road alone? I'll definitely walk you to the front gate of the school. If necessary, I can also walk you to your class." Juno exaggerated.
Rhea laughed amused, then looked at her watch. "Okay, since I have a picket today, I'll go with you. It's also great for saving money on transportation."
Juno is like the fall of a falling durian, happy to death. He enthusiastically immediately opened the car door for Rhea. "Come on, come on, please."
Rhea gets into Juno's car.
Juno frowned to himself before finally getting into the car.
At the crossroads, Juno's car was cut off by Sean's motorbike, which was definitely heading towards Rhea's boarding house. Seeing Rhea in Juno's car, Sean immediately stepped on the brakes and looked back to make sure.
"Ah, annoying!" Sean hit the steering wheel of his motorbike. "Again, I'm not as fast as him."
Sean turned the steering wheel and turned his motorbike to follow Juno's car. "So Juno is serious about what he said yesterday? He really wants to get close to Rhea. Damn it."
