Kael's POV
The Seer turned away, disappearing into the trees with Ronan's pack, but I wasn't done with her. Not after what she had just said.
"Wait!" I called, my voice sharp and commanding.
She stilled. Slowly, she turned her head to look at me, her eerie eyes locking onto mine with something unreadable—something ancient.
I took a step forward, ignoring the weight of Ava's stare beside me. My mind was reeling, my pulse hammering from her cryptic words.
"What do you mean?" I demanded. "Who are you talking about? Who will spill blood?"
The Seer tilted her head slightly, as if listening to something only she could hear. Then, with a slow shake of her head, she murmured, "I cannot answer your questions, Alpha Kael. You will have to see for yourself."
My patience snapped. "I don't have time for riddles, damn it! If you know something—"
She cut me off with a knowing gaze. "The truth reveals itself when it is time."
