"So you're the one causing mischief in my city." Reece got closer to Truce, who was now stepping back in fear. His voice was shaky as he tried to defend himself. "I...I was just taking taking back what belongs to me!"
"You own nothing in my city, Truce. This time, no trading contract was made...you took it out of spite? Are the prices too unfavourable to your agency?"
Truce messed with someone he shouldn't have. Maybe he could stall for time until Lloyd arrived. Engage Reece in small talk and prolong his life. As Truce raised his eyes to answer Reece, he saw plain snow Infront of him.
"What the hell...did Reece just.." Truce felt relieved and gradually, a smirk tucked up at the corner of his mouth. He was spared. "What the hell was I even trembling for?" He chuckled.
Instantly, a pair of glowing magenta eyes spawned just Infront of him. Truce feels a chilly feeling run down his spine. He was unable to move nor speak. Shit. He'd celebrated too early.
Reece pulled out a red beautiful rose from the breast pocket of his tuxedo.
"Do you like roses?"
The rose was brought under his nose and a bewitching scent rose to his head, making his world spin. His body starts to shake as Vines grow all over from the eyes and nose eventually suffocating him.
[Divine Sanctuary- Ise Order]
The youngest of the elite seers, a twelve year old boy named Aiden had closed his eyes for sometime. Then he opened them suddenly to reveal yellow bright pupils. Aiden had executed the 'Seer of all' spiritual technique in order to search for the Crimson seer secretly all by himself. After all, the bounty resting on Lloyd's head could push him up the ranks and make him closer to surpassing the golden elite seer, Dayuki Youmo, who was their leader.
"That powerful aura must be him. Near the city of Reece. Who cares what Dayuki or the other priests say? I've almost concealed my aura so good luck on finding me, losers."
Aiden looks around to confirm nobody is watching him. Then he vanishes heading to Crimson's location.
A figure of a golden seer emerges from a tree in the sanctuary. Dayuki had been keeping an eye on the mischievous white seer.
"I knew that kid couldn't stay still. Forcing some kind of rivalry huh? Very ambitious indeed."
[Outside gates- City of Reece]
Crimson finally reaches outside the city and searches for Truce. He walks further to the North and sees a silver haired man before Truce's body with vines all around it, lying on the snow. Reece then stretched his hand and a white tiny particle was extracted from the body and gets absorbed in his palm.
Crimson knew that no doubt what he'd seen was Truce's soul.
"WHY'D YOU KILL TRUCE!"
Reece stood still, silent.
"I'M TALKING TO YOU!"
Reece turns around to face Lloyd. The distance between them 60 metres.
Crimson sees Reece raise his hand to cover a part of his face and his shoulders begin to shake.
Was he laughing?
"What's so funny?"
"Mmh-mmh-mmh-AHAHAHAAHAHAAA!"
Reece's eyes widen together with his mouth .
Crimson's anger builds up and he pulls his scythe out.
On seeing this, he stops laughing and resumes a cold voice.
"I'm not here to fight, Lloyd."
A jolt of realization hit Crimson. Reapers weren't supposed to know seer's true names.
"How do you know my identity?"
"I know... everything about you."
Was he a stalker of some kind?
A firece gust of wind blows between them creating a snow storm. A small figure dashes at unimaginable speed leaving an avalanche behind his trail. Crimson catches a glimpse of the scene unfolding in the storm, of a white haired boy in white leather suits leaping with a punch in Reece's direction. His fist encounters with Reece's cheek, causing a shockwave around the perimeter that throws Crimson backwards.
Reece had not moved an inch after the punch and Aiden backs away, now between Reece and Crimson.
"Oh, you aren't affected by physical attacks?"
Reece stares at the boy and chuckles, his brows raised mockingly at Aiden.
"A mere child? Ise Order is carrying out child labour, I see."
Aiden positions into a fighting stance, pulling out two golden daggers from his side pockets. "You're dead, Reece."
Reece stands with his hands behind his back proudly. "Bring it on."
Crimson stares from a distance as Aiden puts a finger to his mouth and bites it until he gets cut. Then the blood drops on the snow and his dagger stabs the spot.
"Spiritual technique: Remiscible Chains."
A series of red chains break out from underground below Reece, strapping his legs and coiling around his torso. His hands get trapped as well. But Reece's expression remains calm. Aiden jumps to close in the distance his daggers leading the way.
"Spiritual technique: Vile Bloodstrike."
The golden daggers glow with reddish energy that coat it's side blades as they slash deep into Reece's chest and arms.
Reece's mouth had moved before he started bleeding.
"Spiritual technique: Petals of Deception."
Instead of blood, rose petals blew on Aiden's face utterly confusing the boy.
The world changes afterwards.
Aiden looks ahead to see a vast magenta sky, as if bleeding with tears. He is standing at the edge of a cliff at which below is a never ending abyss of hell.
Aiden's eyes search multiple angles for his opponent.
"Show yourself!"
As if answering him, Reece appears from thin air with a flying kick. The daggers form a defensive 'x' formation so that the kick hits the weapons instead. A slashing counter attack misses Reece and hits the air. But then a whip tangles Aiden's legs painfully and Reece pulls forcefully, making Aiden lose balance and fall off the cliff.
Aiden scans his environment once again while falling, trying to predict Reece's next attack. He notices the sky is blue once again and that he's falling from a mountain 400 miles from the peak. Suddenly, Aiden's eyes shot up and he gasps, ready to form another 'x' defensive formation when... Reece who is falling from above reaches his palm out just above the boy's temple.
"I knew you were peculiar when you executed two spiritual techniques in a row, kid. Despite your age you're actually one of the elite seers, aren't you?"
Aiden's daggers try to cut Reece's wrist off but his movement is delayed by the air friction going against him. A blinding ball of concentrated light starts to form in Reece's palm, illuminating the whole sky and even overwhelming the sun's brightness...
The white elite seer is faced with a dead end. Will his daggers be able to fulfill his wishes in time?
