Unspoken Tensions And Secret Feelings

The house felt quieter than usual, yet there was an unshakable tension lingering in the air. Grace had finally come home after nearly two months, but instead of spending time with her family, she was glued to her phone—laughing, chatting, and calling her boyfriend.

Felix sat on the couch, pretending not to care, but his hands clenched into fists every time he heard her giggle. She comes home once in a blue moon, and this is what she does? He wanted to say something, but he kept it to himself. What's the point? She wouldn't listen anyway.

Joseph, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind. He was used to it.

Lisa, sensing the tension, tried to focus on her schoolwork, but it was hard to ignore the feeling that Felix was holding something back.

Lisa barely had time to step out of Felix's car before the Barbie girls—Elsa, Erica, and Linda—swaggered over. Their voices dripped with mockery.

"Felix, what are you doing with a poor loser like Lisa?" Erica sneered, flipping her perfectly styled hair.

Elsa smirked. "Don't tell me you actually enjoy being around her."

Felix rolled his eyes, leaning against the car with his arms crossed. His voice was sharp and effortless. "Mind your business, freaks."

Lisa glanced at him, surprised as always by how easily he dismissed them. She had gotten used to their insults, but Felix never let them get to him.

The Barbie girls huffed and walked away, their whispers trailing behind them.

Lisa sighed. "You don't have to do that, you know."

Felix shrugged. "I do what I want." And with that, he drove off, leaving Lisa wondering what he really thought about all this.

Inside the school, Baskhar had been acting differently lately. He was trying—really trying—to be close to Lisa. Offering to carry her books, waiting for her after class, making casual conversation at every chance he got.

Lisa wasn't sure how to feel about it. Was he just being friendly, or was there something more?

What she didn't notice was Iris, watching from a distance. Her grip on her books tightened. Why is he always around her? She had never told anyone, but she had liked Baskhar for a long time. She never had the courage to say anything, and now… it felt like she was watching someone else take what she had always wanted.

Iris forced a smile whenever Lisa spoke about Baskhar, but deep inside, jealousy burned.

Lisa had no idea that as one boy was trying to get close to her, another heart was breaking in silence.
