"Cut off!" Steven bit his teeth, roaring.
A disappointment escaped her lips as a sigh, moaning, "I should've married an ugly person than me. Aren't you scolding me just because you're handsomer than me?" She pursed her lips adorably.
Despite Levi being mesmerized by her cuteness from a distance, it was different for Steven, who desperately wanted to avoid her drunken behavior.
"Just stay here," Steven forced to be nice.
Abby balled air inside her mouth and squatted right there, hugging her knee.
He rushed inside the restaurant and handed the black card hurriedly. His tapping feet, which caught the confliction-dribbling eyes of Levi, enunciated his first ever nervousness.
As Levi flared confusion towards Steven, Steven informed him before leaving, "Find the way home, bye!"
Steven then grasped Abby's backside collar and dragged her to his car.
"Are the rumors true?" Levi questionably watched Steven's responsibility-dripping behavior until the car left. Only after that did he realize that he should book a taxi to leave, and he also was sort of money for it.
"No!" He screamed and chased behind the car, shouting, "Boss! I have no money."
After arriving at the house, Steven opened the car door for her only to find her elegant, pouring, innocent-looking face, which doesn't suit her awakened life.
"What is the use of having an innocent face with this attitude?" Steven questioned himself, giving a disgusted look.
He then kicked her legs, awakening her.
She slightly moved from her deep sleep; however, glancing that she wasn't inside home yet, she quickly shut her eyes before Steven's sight caught her.
"Wake up already! Don't expect me to carry you inside the house." Steven strictly said and walked off, leaving the car door open.
Meanwhile...
Steven stepped into the house carrying Abby in his arms. A brief, weary sigh whirled out his lips. "Why I'm doing this?"
He then put her on the sofa. She twirled her head only to find he was about to head upstairs. Immediately, she gripped his wrist and stopped him.
"Are you going to cook?" She flashed quiet innocent through her glittering eyes.
"What now?" Steven scattered vexation.
"Come sit and have a chat," she said.
He sighed in annoyance.
In a blink of an eye, she forcefully dragged him, pulled him onto the sofa, and positioned herself to sit facing him as if she were going to tell him a story.
With tired eyes, she observed his well-placed eyebrow, which suited his radiant eyes. "Your eyes are pretty," she declared in a drunken voice, earning his Irish hooked her eyes.
To his annoyance, she declared, "But not so pretty as my crush."
She then rolled down, disappointed with his nose. "My crush's nose was perfect," she praised with a broad smile.
Thereafter, her eyes fell over Steven's smooth surfaced, shining lips, which didn't need lipstick. Amazed with his faultless lips, her finger aroused itself to get a touch of it.
He dodged it effortlessly.
She pursed her lips and breathed anger. "Your lips are also not as perfect as my crush."
Steven looked away, hearing her nonsense without having a choice.
Her look then caught his chest muscles, which were covered with a shirt. Since his first button was unbuttoned, she got the luck to peek inside his chest line.
Steven flared an instant glare, perceiving her sight was on his chest. He buttoned up his shirt and sat straight.
"No! I haven't seen his muscles yet." She disappointedly declared, and not to delay, her eyes switched directly down at his private area.
He covered it with his hands, quickly giving a death stare at her.
She precipitated an embarrassed smile. "I hope that won't be small." She mumbled herself. Unfortunately, she said it loudly, earning a disgusted glance from him right away.
She then dropped her forehead over his folded legs, mumbling, "I love him so much."
"I wonder who is that unlucky person." Steven dictated.
The next day.
Abby awakened from the sofa, shut her eyes tightly, getting a severe headache. As soon as she opened her eyes, she got a glimpse of Steven coming downstairs, buttoning his shirt from the top, exposing his six back and marvelously solid-looking chest.
"Wow...." She was amazed, with jaw-dropping.
"Close your mouth," Steven declared.
Abby closed her mouth and drifted her eyes apart from him, embarrassed herself.
"We are having an interview today. I promised you to take it in during our deal. Don't forget to show up on time!" Steven strictly proclaimed heading towards the exit.
"I deserve it. So I don't need your help." Abby expressed her pride, glaring at him.
"Don't forget," he repeated once and left.
After much time spent getting ready, she came out with a fabulous outfit and also did her hair well.
She used the bus to reach the company. Unfortunately, she ended up coming late; furthermore, she was forced to encounter her crush, Duri, who was now standing facing her.
Her gawped eyes stuck in his sight line. Without knowing what to do, she offered a brief and forced smile, "Hi!"
"I want to ask you something," said Duri. His concern-dripping face expected her to spare some time for him.
Her racing heart couldn't find a way to rest aside from Duri's bellowing voice. At the time, her eyeball rolled to the right and she glimpsed Steven from afar watching her instead of listening to Levi's chat.
Conflict dribbled from her shattering eyes. "I want to escape from this awkwardness. What to do?" She questioned herself, which reverberated only to Steven's concentrating mind.
Only then did his gaze switch to Abby's confusion-pervaded eyes from that rarely flickering dragon ring.
Abby and Steven's eyes were hooked on each other as if both had no intention of drifting apart the sight.
Duri snapped his fingers in front of Abby and regained her attention. However, she waved her hand towards Steven, excusing herself, "One sec!"
Duri twirled around looking bewildered until he witnessed Abby offering a warm hug to the CEO, Steven, who was perfectly conflicted with her sudden unfamiliar behavior.
There were only a few staff members who caught that great scene. But, within a minute, that news spread around the whole office, and gossip swirled inside the company.
"What are you doing?" Steven muttered.
"He's my crush. I got rejected by him. Just help me." She mumbled, looking up at his face, avoiding Levi as if he were invisible between them.
"In what way?" He queried with questionable raised eyebrows.
"Do your husband's job!" She dictated biting her teeth.
An annoyance whirled out his lips as he sigh once before he got a glimpse of Duri.
"Husband?" Levi's jaw dropped. Yet he couldn't believe his eyes that displayed Steven letting her hug.
Abby embedded her face into his chest, pinching from his back, muttering, "Pat my head!"
Despite being irritated, Steven aroused his hand to pat her head, which shot Levi's heart.
Then she took back her head, looked up at his face with a smiling face, and declared, "Thank you." She then released him and turned around to go back to reply to Duri.
Steven grasped her hand and twirled her to face him at light speed before even she felt she was being held by Steven.
Levi fainted in shock, unable to understand Steven's unfamiliar attitude toward the woman. Because, as far as he knew, Steven hadn't had a personal relationship with any woman. The hug that he let her do without refusing was still an enormous shock to Levi. His grasp on her wrist knocked out Levi's brain to think. However, his presence didn't bother both Steven and Abby.
As her baffled gaze fixed on Steven's authoritative emerging eyes, Steven dragged her upstairs, saying, "Follow me!"
"Abby!" Duri tried to call her but remembered Steven's face, and the man's, who did run away with Abby on the wedding day, seemed to have the same appearance. So he swallowed back his words.
