"Talk?" Draconis raised an eyebrow, acting as if he didn't know what she was talking about.
"See the tests first," Elysia commanded. Few had the bravery to talk to the emperor with such disrespect, and even fewer would be able to survive the consequences.
Elysia was such a person.
Draconis shifted his gaze to the papers on the ground and grunted. Was this woman telling him to get out of his throne and pick them up?
If it were any other person, he would have killed them on the spot… sadly, Elysia wasn't a person he could get rid of so easily.
He flicked his fingers, and a moment later, a beautiful woman with golden hair and pupils identical to his own was standing by his side.
"Yes, father?" she asked with an emotionless voice.
"Pick up the papers, would you?" he spoke without shifting his gaze from Elysia's black eyes.
The woman bowed slightly as she crouched and picked the papers up, one by one, and handed them to her father.
