Chapter 34: Kyren am I a bad Lord?

Rose finally caught up with the mischievous dragon, scooping it up triumphantly as she twirled in the lake.

The shimmering waters splashed around her and the dragon, creating a playful scene under the glow of the moonlight.

The dragon chirped in protest at first but soon relaxed, its tiny wings fluttering contentedly.

The moon itself seemed to conspire with the scene, casting its silvery light on Rose, making her white hair glimmer like woven starlight.

Her silk dress clung to her, damp and catching every subtle curve as water droplets sparkled on her skin.

If Rose could see herself from an outsider's perspective, she'd probably set the entire realm ablaze just to keep herself safe from prying eyes.

Lucifer stood in the shadows, his crimson eyes fixed on the girl and her dragon. The sight was enchanting, almost ethereal.

She was carefree, laughing as if the world beyond the lake didn't exist.
