Training under pressure. Part 2

Dante sighs: You know, sometimes I feel like your only goal in these trainings is to play as many pranks on me as possible.

Dabi with a sly smile: And sometimes you make it so easy! I can't resist the opportunity, hero.

Dante gives him a sideways glance: If this is some kind of weird motivation, then you're failing miserably.

Dabi puts his hands behind his head: On the contrary! You're more motivated now, aren't you? Let's see if you'll stay motivated after the next training.

Dante suspiciously: I feel like I'm going to regret asking, but... what's the next training?

Dabi stretches his arms out, pointing to the sky: Imagine it's raining, but instead of water, it's raining continuous attacks!

Dante raises an eyebrow: What?

Dabi laughs: It's time for another training, this time it's going to be a little different. You won't just dodge attacks, you'll have to use your sword to block or change their path.

Dante pondering: It seems like a good idea, but it doesn't feel comfortable at all with you as an opponent.

Dabi with a sarcastic wink: I'm making everything more exciting! Get ready, because you'll wish you stayed in the water instead of facing this training.

Dante: Are we going to start this training now?

Dabi sighs tiredly: Don't worry... We should go back to rest now, you're obviously tired.

Dante: You're right, we've worked a lot today, so where are we going?

Dabi said excitedly: The Kingdom of Waterfalls!

As Dante and Dabi made their way through the mountain paths leading to the Kingdom of Waterfalls, the scenery before them gradually changed.

They moved through the rocky paths that were decorated with fields of wild grasses swaying in the wind. There were some old trees scattered along the way, their branches waving at them as if greeting them on their journey. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating golden spots on the ground, giving the journey a peaceful atmosphere despite the arduous road.

Dabi smiled wryly as he looked at Dante: Oh, you really look tired, Dante! Do you want me to carry you with gravity? You'll be like a little bird flying effortlessly!

Dante grumbled: If you want to fly, why don't you just lift yourself up instead of bothering me?

Dabi put his hands behind his head lazily: Because I like seeing you suffer. It adds a special flavor to the journey.

The road stretched out before them, and the sounds of nature surrounded them from all sides. As they advanced further, the terrain began to transform from rough rocky paths to softer trails, interspersed with clear streams of water flowing from between the rocks, indicating their proximity to the Kingdom of Waterfalls.

Dante pondered as he heard the sound of rushing water on the horizon: It seems we're getting closer… The sound of the waterfalls is getting clearer.

Dabi with a sly smile: Are you excited? The Kingdom of Waterfalls isn't just a great place for pure water, it's also full of surprises… and probably some people who don't want us there.

Dante looked at him suspiciously: Why do I feel like our trip won't be that easy?

Dabi with a light laugh: Because you're starting to understand my style of planning.

The two continued on their way, as a light mist began to surround the area, giving the atmosphere a magical feel. As they got closer, the first signs of the Kingdom of Waterfalls appeared: massive waterfalls falling from great heights, interspersed with stone arches and scattered buildings built directly on the rocks next to the water. The scene was stunning, like a magical painting coming to life.

Dante in amazement: This place is... amazing.

Dabi proudly crossed his arms: Of course! Now, let's see what awaits us here.

As Dante and Dabi continued their way towards the heart of the Waterfall Kingdom, the sounds of flowing water began to grow louder, mixed with the sounds of birds flying around the lush trees. The atmosphere was cool and refreshing, and the light spray of water was flying through the air, giving the place a sense of purity.

The first thing they came across at the entrance to the kingdom was the ancient stone bridge spanning a flowing river. The stones were covered in a light layer of moss, and the clear water ran quickly beneath them, reflecting the sunlight scattered through the light mist.

Dabi smiled as he looked at Dante: Well, I bet you've never seen a place like this before.

Dante looked around in admiration: Honestly... I haven't. This place looks like it's taken from an ancient legend.

Dabi with a small laugh: Well, legends aren't far from reality here. The Kingdom of Waterfalls was home to many great warriors, and the waters here were said to carry special spiritual energy.

Dante raised his eyebrows in doubt: Spiritual energy? Do you mean it grants power?

Dabi shrugged: "Maybe... or maybe it's just superstitions passed down by the elves here. Anyway, we have more important things to think about.

Crossing the bridge, they came to a stone path lined with wooden arches decorated with vines and wild flowers, leading to the heart of the kingdom. There was a small market on both sides of the road, where merchants lined up behind their stalls offering fresh fruits, colorful fabrics, and even some magical tools.

Dante looked at the market with interest: I didn't expect the place to be this busy... I thought it would be quieter.

Dabi with a wry smile: This kingdom isn't just beautiful waterfalls, it's home to a lot of people as well. And you know what that means?

Dante narrowed his eyes suspiciously: What?

Dabi put his hand on Dante's shoulder slyly: It means we can have a meal before we start your new training.

Dante sighed as he looked at him: I'm sure you were planning this all along...

Dabi with a loud laugh: Of course! I can't fight on an empty stomach, can I?

The two continued walking through the market, while Dabi watches the food displayed with excitement, and Dante begins to realize that his journey in the Waterfall Kingdom may hold more than he expected, not only in terms of training, but perhaps in terms of the surprises he may soon encounter.

In the middle of the bustling market, delicious smells were creeping into Dante's nose, mixed with the scent of fresh bread and aromatic spices. Merchants were calling out their wares loudly, trying to attract buyers, while light music was playing in the background by some roaming artists.

Dabi holding a barbecue stick filled with grilled meat: You know what, Dante? Sometimes I feel like real training is being able to resist these smells.

Dante with a smirk: I think this is the only type of training where you will undoubtedly surpass me.

Dabi took a big bite as he spoke with his mouth full: That's right, and you should accept it!

As Dante was wandering around the stalls, a vendor caught his eye displaying a collection of small crystals that glowed in different colors. The vendor was an elderly man with a long white beard, carrying a mysterious aura.

The vendor in a calm and seductive voice: Young man, you have an interesting aura… Perhaps you might have an interest in these stones.

Dante looked at the crystals intently, feeling a strange attraction to one of them that glowed a pure blue.

Dante curiously: What exactly are these stones?

The seller with a mysterious smile: They're not just ordinary stones, they carry the energy of the elements. Some help with concentration, some enhance combat ability… and this one in particular, might suit you.

Dabi suddenly put his hand on Dante's shoulder: Hey, don't fall for the sweet words, Dante! These merchants are good at convincing you to buy things you don't need.

Seller: There's no need to buy if you're not convinced, but I feel like this stone might be destined for him.

Dante looked at the stone again, before shaking his head and retreating.

Dante: Maybe later.

The two continued their way through the market until they reached an open area, where the massive waterfalls that the kingdom is famous for could be seen. The water was falling forcefully from the towering heights, creating a great roar, and its spray filled the air with a refreshing breeze.

Dabi looks at the waterfalls with admiration: This is the perfect place for our next training, Dante.

Dante crosses his arms: So, what are we going to do here?

Dabi with a mischievous smile: You'll see soon... Just be prepared, because this time, there won't be water to save you when you fall.

Dante felt a little nervous, but he was ready for any new challenge. He knew that every moment with Dabi was full of surprises, and this new training was definitely no exception.

Dante raises his eyebrow suspiciously: Oh, that's so reassuring... I guess I should be worried now, shouldn't I?

Dabi laughs as he crosses his arms behind his head: Of course! If you don't worry, how can you have fun?

The two of them approached the edge of the waterfall, where the water was rushing down forcefully, creating violent eddies in the lower river. Slippery rocks were scattered on the sides, and the spray made the atmosphere even cooler.

Dabi, pointing to one of the large rocks near the waterfall: Well, Dante, this training will be simple... in concept, but not in execution.

Dante, sighing: Of course, as usual, you make everything look hellish.

Dabi: What a compliment! Now, listen carefully... You see those rocks sticking out in the middle of the waterfall? You have to jump between them and avoid the falling water without losing your balance.

Dante looks at the rocks intently: Jumping and balancing in the middle of that violent current? Sounds like a great idea to crash on the rocks.

Dabi smirks: This is the fun part! And if you lose your balance… I'll lift you up in the air using gravity and throw you back down so you can learn.

Dante puts his hand to his face in frustration: Why did I know you'd do something like that?

Dabi with an excited voice: Because you're smart, Dante! Come on, no time for arguments. The first jump awaits you.

Dante stood at the edge, looking at the scattered rocks, then took a deep breath and jumped towards the first rock. His feet slipped a little, but he managed to balance. It wasn't easy, the spray made the rocks terrifyingly slippery.

Dabi with a provocative voice: Not bad… But I've seen squirrels do it better!

Dante ignores him as he focuses on the next jump: Not now, Dabi…

Dante moved carefully, jumping from rock to rock, avoiding the rushing streams of water. But suddenly, Dabi raised his hand slightly, attracting a stream of water that hit Dante's foot directly, causing him to slip!

Dante widened his eyes: You-!

Before he fell, he felt his body being pulled into the air, finding himself suspended by Dabi's gravity.

Dabi laughed: Ooooh, you almost made it! But not yet, let's do it again!

Dante screamed as he fell again: Dabieeee!

This happened several times… and with each fall, Dante felt that Dabi was enjoying himself more than he should have. The training wasn't just a physical test, it was a test of his patience as well.

But Dante wasn't going to give up so easily…

This happened several times… and with each fall, Dante felt that Dabi was enjoying himself more than he should have. Training wasn't just a physical test, it was also a test of his patience. However, Dante wasn't the type to give up easily. Every time he fell, he would get back up, analyze his mistakes, and try to adapt to the changing flow of water.

Dabi with a sly smile: Well, it's starting to get better… but don't get too excited, we haven't reached the hardest part yet!

Dante waves his hand tiredly: Are… are we at least close to the end?

Dabi puts his hand to his chin in thought: Hmm… maybe after fifty more attempts?

Dante shouts in frustration: Dabi!!

Dabi laughs, but decides to give Dante one last chance to prove his progress. Dante focused all his energy, jumping from rock to rock with greater stability, and when Dabi tried to surprise him by pulling the water towards him, Dante was ready. He leaned in at the right moment, stretched out his arms to balance himself, and then confidently jumped towards the last rock.

Dante with a triumphant smile: Huh! I did it!

Dabi raises his eyebrows in admiration: Hmm… Not bad, but let me try one last thing.

Before Dante could respond, Dabi moved his hand, suddenly grabbing a small stone from under the water at an incredible speed, hitting Dante's knee hard.

Dante groaned in pain: Damn…!

He lost his balance at the last moment, and before Dabi could catch him again, he fell hard on a protruding rock floating in the air, and his shoulder hit a sharp edge. His arm felt a sharp pain, and a strange warmth quickly spread across his skin… He was bleeding.

Dabi (stops laughing and rushes towards him): "Dante! Are you okay?"

Dante tried to get up, but the pain stopped him. He sat on the rock, pressing on his wound, then looked at Dabi with a tired look.

Dante sighed: "I guess… that means I failed, doesn't it?"

Dabi looked at him worriedly then smiled a small smile: "It means you gave it your all… that's what I wanted from the beginning."

Dabi sat next to him, grabbing a piece of cloth from his pocket and began wrapping it around the wound to stop the bleeding.

Dabi calmly: "Maybe I went a little too far… I should have been more careful."

Dante smiled despite his pain: "Oh, is this an admission that you might be a bit of a harsh teacher?"

Dabi laughed as he tied the bandage: "Don't dream too much… Tomorrow, we'll continue training."

At this moment, Dabi decided not to play pranks on Dante again, and he had to be serious.

While Dante decided not to complain about everything and he had to mature, and be more considerate and respectful of his teacher.

Dante looked at the roaring waterfall in front of him, then slowly exhaled… Tomorrow, he would be ready for another try.

Training under pressure.
