Lecture ended and Jayden and I went to a nearby cafe. He ordered an Americano and I asked for an expresso with a slice of cake. Our orders arrived and we chatted away.
As we sipped our drinks, Jayden and I chatted about everything and nothing. However, I noticed that he kept trying to steer the conversation towards Gabriel, and I skillfully dodged each attempt. After a while, he seemed to get the hint and dropped the subject altogether.
As we finished up, I offered to pay for our drinks as a way of apologizing for ignoring him when he first tried to get to know me. I had gotten some money from a generous stranger's pocket on our way to the cafe, and I was happy to use it to treat Jayden. He accepted graciously and promised to return the favor next time.
As we walked around campus, Jayden asked me about my next class. "I have immunology at 2," I replied, glancing at my watch. "That's in like 30 minutes," Jayden said, and then his eyes lit up. "No way, I take that class too!"
I smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie. "Should we go together then?" I asked, but Jayden shook his head.
"Nah, I have somewhere to be. I'll catch you later," he said, turning to leave. But as he did, he bumped into someone. My heart sank as I saw Gabriel standing there, his face thunderous.
Gabriel and Jayden were about the same height, but Gabriel's presence seemed to loom larger. He glared at Jayden, his nose scrunched up in disgust. Then, he turned to me, his eyes narrowing. "What are you doing with him?" he asked, his voice dripping with disdain.
I felt a surge of fear, worried that Gabriel might have an outburst in public. I quickly went over to him, trying to placate him. "Gabriel, Jayden is just a friend I made in class this morning," I explained, trying to keep my voice calm.
But Gabriel didn't seem to ease up. His face remained frowning, his eyes still flashing with anger.
"I don't want you hanging out with him," Gabriel growled, his voice low and menacing.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I tried to reason with him. "Gabriel, he's just a friend I made in class. There's no need to get upset."
But Gabriel's expression only darkened. He took a step closer to me, his eyes blazing with intensity. "I don't want you near him," he repeated, his voice dripping with possessiveness.
Jayden, who had been watching the exchange with a mixture of curiosity and concern, spoke up. "Hey, man, I think you're overreacting. We were just having a friendly conversation."
Gabriel's gaze snapped to Jayden, his eyes flashing with anger. "Stay out of this," he growled, his voice warning.
I felt a surge of anxiety as I tried to defuse the situation. "Gabriel, please. Let's just calm down and talk about this."
But Gabriel's anger seemed to be escalating by the second. He took another step closer to me, his eyes burning with intensity. "You're mine," he whispered, his voice low and menacing. "And I won't let anyone take you away from me."
I felt a chill run down my spine as Gabriel's words hung in the air. His eyes seemed to bore into mine, as if daring me to contradict him. I tried to take a step back, but my feet seemed rooted to the spot.
Jayden, sensing the tension, took a step forward. "Hey, man, I think you're getting a little too possessive," he said, his voice calm but firm.
Gabriel's gaze snapped to Jayden, his eyes flashing with anger. "Mind your own business," he growled, his voice low and menacing.
I felt a surge of fear as I realized that Gabriel was on the verge of losing control. I tried to intervene, placing a hand on his arm. "Gabriel, please. Let's just calm down and talk about this."
But Gabriel shook off my hand, his eyes never leaving Jayden's face. "You need to stay away from her," he repeated, his voice dripping with malice.
As Gabriel's anger continued to escalate, Jayden's expression changed from calm to concerned. He took a step back, his eyes darting between Gabriel and me.
"Hey, man, I think you need to calm down," Jayden said, his voice shaking slightly.
But Gabriel didn't seem to hear him. His eyes were fixed on me, his gaze burning with intensity.
I reached out and grabbed Gabriel's arm, pulling him away from Jayden and the growing crowd of onlookers.
"Gabriel, stop," I said. "Let's just go, okay?"
Gabriel's eyes flashed with anger, but he seemed to hesitate for a moment. Then, he nodded curtly and allowed me to drag him away from the scene.
As we walked away, I could feel Jayden's eyes on us, his expression a mixture of relief and concern.
We walked past the coffee shop Jayden and I had been in earlier, and Gabriel pulled me inside. He dragged me into the Manager's office, his authoritative presence intimidating the staff into silence. The manager, startled from his work, scrambled to leave as Gabriel growled at him to get out. Once the manager fled, Gabriel locked the door behind him and took a seat. With a disturbing calmness, he pulled his pants down, his eyes fixed on me with an unnerving intensity. I turned my gaze away from him as I realized his lower half was standing and staring at me.
I felt a surge of concern for the situation I was in, wondering what Gabriel had in mind for me.
"Suck it."
His voice was low and menacing as he spoke. I blinked, shocked by his words, and turned to look back at him. His face was a mix of anger and frustration.
"Come here, Betty," he commanded, his tone brooking no refusal. I felt my body move towards him, driven by fear. Tears escaped my eyes as I knelt down in front of him. Gabriel's hands grasped my head, his grip firm as he pulled my head to perform the act.
