Alael, the Heavenly Executioner

The Seraph truly was a radiant existence. It was worthy of praising God for eternity. In front of him, no longer stood a being with 16 wings, but a human-looking girl. However, unlike most other Angels, this girl had golden eyes and long red hair.

Her ears were pointed and yet not overly long. Her armor was made of pure gold and platinum. A crimson red cloak billowed behind her back, and In her hand, she carried a large executioner's blade. The blade glowed orange with the heat of the heavens themselves.

Her gaze was strict and cold. She was here to conduct her duty and nothing more. Her eyes darted to other Angels and then to her Creator. The woman was truly beautiful despite her cold demeanor.

She sheathed her blade onto her back as she took a step forward, her gaze met Cedric's before she fell to her knee. Her head bowed in reverence as her booming voice echoed around the Divine Realm.

"Beloved Father, I have answered your call. I have come to fulfill the duty assigned to me by you. Your most holy will be done, even if reality breaks. She straightened her back and saluted him as if she were a veteran soldier."

"Rise, a seraph like you needn't kneel." Cedric prompted her to rise, and she obeyed.

She peered into his soul like a hungry flame. Yet to him, it felt calming.

"Seraph, the Executioner," Cedric stated.

The Executioner stood in attention, ready to receive any order that would be given.

"I name you, Alael."

At first glance, the Seraph might have seemed to be at a similar level to Octavia and Raguel; however, what differentiated her from others was her frankly disgustingly powerful skills. She had access to [Heresy Purge], which by itself was already enough to deal with everything below the apex.

She also had access to [Break Reality] and [Supreme Arsenal], which made her an incredibly potent fighter. And it would be hard not to mention her unique skill. [End of All Things]. Overall, she was truly worthy of being called Seraph, one of the closest to God.

"I..." Alael's eyes widened as she shrank back at being named. She had expected to merely be used as a weapon and now her beloved Father even named her. The failure was intolerable now.

Her face blushed for a moment before she bowed deeply, "I thank you, my beloved Father. I shall henceforth carry the name of Alael, the Heavenly Executioner. I am your blade that strikes at those who dare defy you!"

Cedric nodded, "You will support me as we strike at Chrunus. He is bound to have entities that would distract me from striking him down. I want you to deal with them when the time comes."

"I understand! Your will shall be done." She jumped up and saluted once again. Her wings fluttered despite her desperately holding onto her composure. She forced herself to break her gaze away from her beloved Father and look at the woman close to one of her sisters.

She seemed to tremble in fear as their gazes met, yet she did not care. The only one who should not fear around her would be Father. Even her siblings should have felt uneasy around the Executioner.

It was not that she wished to cause discomfort, but it was just her presence that would make all feel true fear. Of course, the allies would merely feel mild discomfort, which made the terrified expression of the goddess even stranger.

"Alael, I will go prepare for the expedition. Find me once you are ready. We shall soon end the tyranny of Chrunus and finally cleanse the world of his rot." With those words, Cedric turned and walked off toward Raguel and Octavia.

Alael bowed before she turned to Fortuna and Ariel. She did not wish her allies to fear her. It was paramount to put her mind at ease.

She stepped forward.

"Hi, sis!" Ariel shouted with his usual chipper tone, something that made Alael smile.

"Hi. I noticed she had a look of fear on her face. I wanted to put her at ease."

"Hah! Of course, she would be afraid, sis, you are a scary lady. Her name is Fortuna; she is the reason we were able to find where Chrunus is hiding."

"A question." Alael stared at Fortuna. Her gaze drifted to a leather accessory around her neck.

"What's wrong, sis?"

"Why is she wearing a collar?" Alael tilted her head slightly.

"I..."

Before she could continue speaking, Fortuna interjected, "Because I submitted to Lady Ariel. I fully belong to her."

Despite Ariel's apparent embarrassment, she did not say anything and merely nodded.

"I see, didn't realise my little sister Ariel was into that kind of stuff... Well, Fortuna, I just wish to tell you that you needn't be afraid of me. I am your ally, and I know Father's will." Alael smiled as she put her hand on top of Fortuna's head and patted the goddess.

With those words, Alael turned and went to meet with the other Supreme Angels and Cedric.

Ariel nudged Fortuna with her elbow, "Hey dont need to piss yourself, all my sisters are nice to out allies, even the Executioner! Frankly, I expected her to be even more terrifying."

Fortuna shook her head, "He... just created her... in front of my eyes... what is he... that girl feels like I stared at Chrunus."

The Angel couldn't help but giggle, "You should expect the impossible to merely be a suggestion for someone like Dad."

"I didn't realise..." Fortuna sighed before she cracked a smile. She had made the right decision.
