Natura wrapped the lily in the golden light as she did so many times before, yet it seemed that the vigor she could bestow upon it was becoming weaker. It saddened her to no end, but the Orange lily might be nearing its end.
She refused to let it die; however, she was incapable of spending enough energy anymore. What was even worse was that she would be sent to die at any moment. She would be used as cannon fodder in the mortal world and would perish in mere hours at her level.
"At least you can outlive me... please..." She pushed even more energy into keeping it alive, yet it was for naught. She reached her limit before it could regain its full vigor. She slumped down on the ground as she stared at the lily.
"I'm so pathetic..." She smiled.
She should have gotten over her position by now, but she still clung to the slight hope. She truly was hopeless. She was a goddess, yet she cried; she represented nature, yet she was harmless.
"Nature's Fury... what rubbish..." She clenched her fists. Mortals used to revere and fear the fury of Nature, and yet the one who represented that very nature was hopelessly crying as if she were a scared little girl. And in a way, she was.
Crack
The cracking sounds echoed around her. "Wha..." She fell back as the ground around her shook violently. Yet something else had happened. She felt the very domain she used to rule regain its strength.
Her eyes widened as the chalky ground lost its chaotic property. The Chaos dispersed; even more than that, it was eradicated. Almost as if a predator was hunting the very chaos that seeped through the ground.
She pushed herself up and turned to the lily. Instead of a withering flower, she had expected; she instead saw something incredible. The lily was radiating. It had regained more vigor than she could ever bestow.
Her eyes teared up as she crawled above the lily. She did not know what had happened, but she truly felt grateful. She grinned out of sheer happiness. Yet she couldn't let her guard down.
Whatever happened disturbed the dominion of Chrunus. He was sure to act and likely crush whatever caused the change. It saddened her, but she was unable to do anything. She pushed herself up.
This even at the very least assured that her last flower would outlive her. Just as she was about to teleport out, she felt a presence behind her. It was twisted and dark.
"Onjigb Edorirp (Goddess Of Nature)." She turned to the source with a terrified expression. The Supreme Elementals were not supposed to visit her. It was the only reason she was able to keep her flower alive.
Her eyes snapped to the flower. It was withering rapidly as the Supreme Elemental passed. The ground that was filled with Order was slowly being returned to its corrupted state. She should have expected this; Chrunus would not sit idly at such a massive change to his dominion.
She gulped as she turned to the Supreme Elemental, "How may I serve..."
"It sec ad sebud tuaks. (You will scout.)"
"What..." She shrank back at the order. She was to be sent to scout.
Just as she was about to talk, she saw the elemental chrun and its yellow lights that represented eyes locked onto a flower. Natura's eyes widened. "I understand I will head out as soon as possible!"
She had to distract the Supreme Chaos from the only thing she had left of her domain.
"En... Ats ej ovo?!(No, what is this?!)" The elemental thundered. Its form caused the ground and the flower itself to rapidly wither.
'Just as I get hope, it gets squashed...' She bit her lip. She had to do something even if it cost her life. It reached forward, and the mists churned around the flower as it quickly lost its color. "STOP!"
She nocked an arrow and quickly fired it toward the elemental. This was incredibly suicidal, but she would not stand for the last piece of her nature to get destroyed while she stood still.
The arrow whistled through the air. The projectile quickly started spinning while a green aura surrounded it. It flew straight through the elemental, and while it did not cause any damage, it distracted it.
"Okak es sejudjusu ecinjadzi?! (How dare you, traitor?!)" It turned to her.
'it's over...' She found solace in the fact that she would die protecting what she loved, her last remains of natural order. She furrowed her brow as another arrow materialized in front of her.
She had to run away far enough for her lily to be safe, so she made a mad dash. Fortunately, it fully focused on her instead of destroying her flower. She nocked another arrow. She did not care what would happen to her, but as long as she died protecting nature, she would die with a smile.
The Elemental phased forward, its dark form contained a raging tempest. Natura gulped as it raised its stormy hand toward her. She closed her eyes and prepared for the inevitable end. "Goodbye, Fortuna... Goodbye, Celara."
[Chaos Consumption], the mists rushed towards her. They swirled and coiled around Natura. The tendrils of dark mist tightened, hurting.
Natura let out a weak scream as she felt herself drained of the last bits of energy she had left. Yet suddenly the tendrils crashed into an impenetrable barrier of water.
The heavy rainfall started, and the starless sky was taken over by dark rainclouds.
"Thou art truly a fool to ignore my presence." A powerful voice reached both Natura and the Supreme Chaos.
The supreme chaos recognized the threat and let go of Natura. It used the same ability on the dark skinned woman, and yet it crashed into a barrier of water.
"Thou should forgive me for this... My defenses art unparalleled even among mine peers." The woman mocked as she swung her parasol at the elemental.
